Best sun protection

Slowly, slowly

During the development of mankind the skin adopted several mechanisms of protection. Brown skin i.e. protects against the influence of ultraviolet radiation.

The skin should come slowly in contact with the sun. At midday between 12°° - 15°° o clock we should stay in shadow.

But you (and especially the Middle-Europeans) can protect against the harmful UV radiation.

The best results in sun protection are received by right clothing, hat and sunglasses.

This advise is published by the Commission of Radiation Protection at 27/28 February 1997 and followed by the Federal Ministry of Environment in the Federal Newsletter No. 98, from June 3rd 1997.
